This painting is a one-shot 20″x24″ painted on location in McClellanville , S.C. . The gentleman in the sea boots walked through the scene while I was working,and I decided I needed to include him.

This piece is a return to Portsmouth ,New Hampshire.The painting is a 36″ x 40″. I have painted this group of buildings several times – in different seasons,from different angles ,and at various times of day. There is just something about the variety of shapes and how they fit together that draws me back to this location.
